I always get about nine hours of sleep every night, I found out that Sleeping can help you grow stronger, faster. I also learned that Sleeping makes you happier, and more fun to be around. I typically fall asleep around 9;30, and I can get to sleep in 2 minuets flat!

If you get healthy sleep you will not be tired and can help your brain with processing new information. You might feeling irritated if you don't get enough sleep and you can change your immune system which make your disease killing cells dysfunction. The recommended amount of sleep for my age (14) is 8-11 hours which I usually get every night. I go to bed at around 8:00 and wake up at 5:00 on week days and go to bed at 10:00-11:00 and wake up at 9:00 on weekends.

Getting a good amount of sleep is very important to your wellbeing. I find that when I stay up too late, I'm drained and sleepy throughout the whole day. It affects your entire sleep schedule if you stay up really late for just one night.

I don't always get good sleep and my grandma recently showed me this video that was talking about how teenages should get lot's of sleep and not to look at screans before bed. So now before I go to bed which is at 10:00 or 10:30 I have a drink of water read a book and just make sure im not stressed about a lot of stuff. The lack of sleep can dweel on you mood for the day how you treat others an also how you day goes cause if you are very tired then your day will suck and you won't pau lots off attention in class

I know the standard for how much sleep you should get in a night is believed to be 8 hours, however through research I learned that it really depends from person to person. This made a lot of sense to me, because I've found throughout my life that 8 hours never feels like enough sleep even though most of the time it's all I can get. If I go to bed at a reasonable hour and allow myself to sleep until I naturally wake up, I've found that I always sleep somewhere from 11-15 hours, and that tells me that I need a lot more sleep than I'm giving myself. Although I can't sleep this long on school nights, I always find time to catch up on the weekends. I also learned that blue light, which is the kind of light cellphones emit, keeps our brains going and make a it much more difficult to sleep, and I also discovered that if I turn my phone off 30 minutes or so before going to bed, I sleep much better.

Getting a good amount of sleep makes your mood and your focus better in life. If you don't get a good night sleep, you could very easily be grumpy and you could space out a lot during school.

I learned that sleep deprivation can cause you to become grumpy, less focused and more forgetful. That is because when you sleep, you have memory consolidation, which is the process where information is moved from your hippocampus (memory processor) to your memory storage in your brain. This process is crucial for how our memory works, without the hippocampus, you lose your procedural memory, but keep your declarative memory.

I found a video called: The Importance of Sleep. I found out that if you don't get enough sleep, than you are at higher risk of becoming obese, and that you might not have enough energy to get you through the day. Sleep also improves your hormones, if you get enough sleep, you will be happier, and more fun to be around! Sleep improves your immune system, which means that when you are sick, your body will eliminate the sickness quicker. I normally get 9 and 1/2 hours of sleep every night, which I think is pretty great! I can usually get to sleep in 10 minutes if I want, but it usually takes about 15. Some of the things that help me get to sleep include: doing a sleep meditation, drinking water before bed, and reading a book until your eyes start to close. I think the world would be a better place if we all had the right amount of sleep every night!

You are supposed to sleep 8-9 hours of sleep every night. Sleeping let's your body rest, heal, and store what you learned and what happend. No sleep stresses you out it slows down kids growing and it's harder to learn the next day. I don't get nearly enough sleep every night i usually get 6-7 hours a night. On weekends I catch up on a bunch of sleep on the weekends because it's the only time I can sleep in.

You are supposed to sleep no less than 7 and no more than 9 hours of sleep every night. I get about 6 hours of sleep on average or more depending when I fall asleep. Some secrets to getting a good nights sleep is to not be on screens 1 hour before you sleep, develop a routine before bed, and blackout your room from artificial lights. My video also says that you should only use your bed for resting purposes and not studying or homework.

I watched a TED Talk called "the brain benefits of deep sleep and how to get more of it." It talked about how sleep deprivation can cause things like Alzeimer's and strokes. It can also effect your mental health and cause you to make bad decisions. Also, you learn best and remember things better when you had a good night's sleep. Eight hours of sleep is recommended per night, and I usually get about eight or nine.

At least 8 hours of sleep is recommended per night. I get about 7.5 hours of sleep per night. The video reported that studying right before you sleep helps you remember what you learned better. I also learned that there are many benefits to getting plenty of sleep such as you are less likely to be obese and you will have less urges to eat. In addition, you have more empathy and perform better in sports if you get good sleep. Short naps during the day lower cortisol levels. Now that I learned the importance of sleep I want to go to bed 45 minutes earlier.

I found a video called: The Importance Of Sleep, 8 Health Benefits. I found out lots of health benefits from it, here are some examples: The video said that children are 89% more likely to be obese if they don't get enough sleep, which is something a lot of people are, and they can loose wait by sleeping more, and just be being healthy in that way, I also found that sleep gives you more natural energy, and that if you don't get enough of it, chances are you might not be able to make it through the whole day. Also, being sick is another thing, sleep improves your immune system, which means that if you are getting enough sleep, you will be sick less often. I usually get around 9 and a half hours of sleep every night, which is pretty good for a teen, I looked up how much sleep you should get each night, and it came around to about 8-9 hours. How I get to sleep is by reading, drawing, and listening to calming music/sleep meditations. I also learned that if you do lots of exercise every day, then you will fall asleep faster, and sooner. I am going to try to get to sleep around 30 minuets earlier each night.

i get about 8 hours of sleep a night, which is the perfect amount i found out today! you are supposed to get no less than 7 and no more than 9 hours of sleep every night, i had no idea that eventually you were supposed to stop sleeping, does hat mean that sleeping in or catching up on sleep is bad for you? if so i'm not going to stop my "Sleep in till 12 on Sunday" skedual. One other thing I learned that depression can be linked to sleep deprivation and sleep deprevation can lead to depression, and not getting enough sleep can also lead to gaining weight.

Seven to nine hours of sleep are recommended per night and I usually get seven hours of sleep every night. One secret for getting a good night's sleep is to black out your windows and make your bedroom very dark. You could also do nothing except sleep on your bed so your brain sees your bed as a place to sleep and only that. I think I'm going to try and get into bed earlier than I usually do. I found out that you are reconmended to get a good 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night, to ensure that you will stay healthy and energized for the next day. Some benefits of getting a good night sleep, is staying healthy, having energy, memerization, and concentration. A few ways to get a better sleep is to sleep in a complete blackout, to have a nightly routine, and to only use your bed for resting and sleeping. I also lerned that it's best to not use devices in the hour before I go to bed. I currently do most of these things, but I definetely notice the difference when I don't sleep enough, so I will make sure to stay concious of the amount of sleep I get.

Lacking sleep can lead to stress hormone disfunction It also lowers the immune system, as it decreases the activity of virus killing cells. It also can lead to irregular cardiovascular disfunction in the heart. I prioritize getting at least 8 hours of sleep on average every night, aiming more for 10 on school nights.

Sleeping is important to restore energy, and to help have some downtime where you can process things that happened during the day. This overall helps relieve issues like stress or anxiety that can be caused by a busy schedule. It's recommended for adults to get 8+ hours, while when your younger, it's important to get more because you are growing so rapidly. Things like stressful emotions can impede growth. Personally, I usually go to bed later than most (10:30-11:00) which isn't great because I have to get up at 6:30 am. I love sleeping but it's too bad I have to get up so early! If only school didn't start at 8:45, on the weekends I usually sleep until later in the morning.

I watched the video, "Sleep Is More Important Than We Thought." and it really changed my mind about getting enough sleep. I thought that if you didn't get an adequate amount of sleep, you'd become drowsy for a day or two and then be fine again. I was very, very wrong. Apparently, pulling an all-night has the same effect on your body as having .10% blood alcohol content. Wow. It can also lead to weight gain, common illnesses, diabetes, heart attacks, and even strokes. After watching all these undesirable things that come as a result of sleep deprivation, it listed five ways to get sleep for an insomniac. I will be sure to keep a better watch and how much sleep I get for now on.

By getting a lack of sleep you are risking obesity, the chance of getting sick and getting depression. Sleep is incredibly valuable to us for some very obvious reasons, like making sure we can focus and class and have energy throughout the day, and some not so obvious reasons. I learned that getting a good night's rest helps you retain information from the previous day and move it from your short term memory to your long term memory. I also know that it helps decompress your spine from a day of having gravity push on your back, and you can actually wake up and be a centimeter or two taller than you were when you went to bed. I also learned that sleep is especially important to kids our age, because it's one of the most important periods of time for brain development and body growth.

If you don't get enough sleep it can mess up your memory box. Your memory box is where you store your memories and if you don't get enough sleep your memory box can stop working. You should get 10 hours of sleep each night. I get 8 or 9 hours of sleep most of the time because my mom makes me go to bed early. When I don't get enough sleep I am irritated and drowsy. It effects my learning because I don't pay attention. Sleep is very important for your health.

It explained how a healthy sleep is no less than 7 hours and no more than 9 hours. I didn't find this very surprising. 7-9 hours of sleep is usually what I get every night, going to sleep around 11 and getting up around 7:30. Some sleeping tips that I'm going to take into consideration are getting blackout curtains, and not being on a device within an hour of bedtime.

Sleep is very important because while you are asleep, your body heals and repairs or replaces cells at a much faster rate than when awake, along with letting your brain rest. Going without sleep can kill you, so you should sleep.
